![]() General Notes and Table of Contents General Notes: Wake Me When It's Over was the fastest of the books I've written--about five months from start to finish (not including the time it spent at the publisher). The book makes me both very happy and very sad, for reasons that will come clear in the following notes. For now, suffice it to say that some of the writing is terrific and some of it is lousy; I love the characters, but am dissatisfied with aspects of the plot; the book is great overall--and important to the reader's understanding of its sequel, The Counterfeit--but it sold very poorly and was out of print quickly. Originally, this was intended to be the first book in a series--The New Order Series. It was a trilogy. The Counterfeit ended up capping it off, for reasons explained in the goodies section of that book. Anyway, read on and you'll get a lot of interesting details, trivia, thoughts, and possibly some deleted scenes. Be aware, however, spoilers abound. The individual chapters below will likely not say SPOILER ALERT!, so just assume that every one of them has spoilers of one kind or another. I hope to post a few chapters every week, so remember to check back frequently! Table of Contents:All content on this site copyrighted by Robison E. Wells, 2004-2007 | |||||||||||
