My Life

The Great New Mexico Road Trip, Day Four

4 Comments 09 October 2012

Today I did the least amount of sightseeing, because I had a full schedule of school visits and my book signing. Fortunately, the Balloon Fiesta decide to come visit me–all of the balloons were landing around me as I was driving to the school this morning.

Lots of balloons.

I’m pretty sure that’s an elephant? It might be a rhino. Either way: neat.

Balloons!

A lion with a crown. A lion king, perhaps?

Me and Variant, speaking to people.

My awesome presentation table at Alamosa Books. It’s a WAY cool store.

It is an elephant, we saw it at the mass aloft on Sunday. They also had a full-bodied cow. Cool stuff, glad it was a good day.

You look great, Rob! That lion looks like the king lion from Rudolph’s Shiny New Year and the Island of Misfit Toys. Maybe. :)

I’ve seen the balloon festival in Albuquerque. It was all kinds of awesome!

Too bad you didn’t plan ahead, you could have arrived for one of your school visits in a lion king balloon.
    Next time
