HOORAY!

When the March Madness ARC giveaway ends, I’ll do another, less sportsy one. This ARC of Feedback may be yours!

  1. Trena says:

Can’t you just let me borrow one? pretty please? I’ll never win a giveaway contest (did you see my bracket after round 2?)

  2. Robison Wells says:

Hey Trena! I’ll drop one by for the Property Solutions gang.

  3. Ivanthecow says:

currently in second place on the bracket. Actually watched 5 minutes of basketball last night when hockey was on commercial, that’s how desperate I am to win. Basketball would be a lot more watchable with 1 timeout per team and without the soccer-esque diving embellishments when hit.

  4. Krista says:

Awesome! And are you wearing a Snuggie?

  5. Rob Wells says:

Krista, I wish it was a Snuggie (or better yet, a Forever Lazy). No, it’s just a sweatshirt that’s two sizes too big. I wear it when I work down in my cold basement.

  6. OMG!!!! I absolutely LOVED Variant! (You can read the review on my blog! (readmanybooks.blogspot.com)

I MUST have an ARC of Feedback!!!!

I am terrible at bball predictions! :(

  7. Heidi says:

Man. I don’t even know how to check my bracket. I logged into ESPN, but, I dunno. Got confused.

Also, your kids are adorable. Your wife must be a real hottie.

  8. Heidi says:

59? Are you freaking kidding me? 59?!!! *Sigh*

  9. Ian says:

As long as you’re handing a copy out to the PSI gang, you should consider shelling one out to the ones who were lucky enough to be kicked out of the gang the same week as you.

    Just a suggestion.

  10. Rob Wells says:

Ian, apparently you’re just another unemployed mooch looking for a handout. Meaning: of course.

  11. Ivanthecow says:

I got my copy of Variant the week I got laid off in November. I have a Job interview this week out in Maine where my Fiancee’s Job new job is taking us. It would be fitting if I were to get Feedback the week I get a new job. Here’s hoping I can have my teams win out in the Bracket!

  12. megan says:

I’m a doc student writing a paper on dystopian heroics…and think that an ARC of Feedback would provide me with buckets of extra insight. But I’m not good at winning stuff. Do you accept bribes?

  13. Annette says:

Yaaaaay! Can’t wait to read the new, shiny version.

  14. Rob Wells says:

Megan, I ALWAYS accept bribes. But, I’m not sure the book would fit your paper. Even though the book is marketed as dystopian, that’s mainly a buzzword to help it sell. I’m of the opinion that neither VARIANT nor FEEDBACK are dystopian–they’re just sci-fi.

  15. megan says:

Oh, I’d argue that Variant is dystopian AND sci-fi. The elements are there, albeit in a little microcosm/cloud chamber…although the end of book one has me wondering. Plus, you’ve got some repressed society that glitters itself up in utopian notions, the hero who knows everything’s a mess and decides not to play along, and the invisible iron fist that’s crushing everything into bits.

Or, like you say, maybe it’s a buzzword. Whatevs. I just want to win an ARC! Do you like cookies? Vodka? I could knit you something, but it would probably be ugly and have lots of holes.

  16. Robison Wells says:

Knitting–now you’re on to something. I’ll open this up to anyone: Anyone who knits me a Doctor Who/Tom Baker scarf will get an ARC of FEEDBACK.

  17. Very cool! I’m looking forward to reading it. Here’s to hoping to see it on NetGalley soon!

    Your kids are too adorable!

  18. megan says:

that’s a lot of yarn (his scarf was epic in length). howsabout a dr. who potholder? also, I can attend the dr. who panel at the upcoming APC/ACA conference and yell out your name or something. maybe do a high kick mid yell? I really want an ARC, and missed the boat on the basketball match challenge.

  19. Robison Wells says:

Megan, don’t worry. There will be more giveaways!

  20. Alice says:

Ooh. How exciting. I want one. I’ve go Variant on my shelf right now.

  21. Kendal says:

I’m 13 and I LOVED Variant. One of my favorite books for sure. I even Googled to see if you had any other books out and was really disappointed when I didn’t see any :(
    CANT WAIT FOR FEEDBACK!!!!! <3

  22. Eric says:

So, you have all these now, and we have to wait until October to get to read it?? Can’t wait!

  23. Jessica Turner says:

Hello Mr. Wells, it is extremely mean to post pictures of your ARC and than do a basketball challenge. I couldn’t even figure out how to have a “bracket” or whatever it is you do lol. I therefore will accept your apology, as I have already waited for Variant to come out, waiting for Feedback is 100 times harder, I can accept it in the form of an ARC of feedback ;)

Well it was worth a try. In all honesty I don’t in the slightest bit expect an ARC, but I would be ever so happy if you thought I witty enough for it.

  24. gabe malavaes says:

i’m beyond pissed man XD i want to read feedback soooo bad!!! and i gotta see a 6 year old who probably can’t read it taunt me with it!!

  25. Person23 says:

Maybe u should give an acr to the person who was just bellow u in the basketball competition. Just a thought
